    The new Mac's are 64bit ... have been for a while now. Photoshop is capable of using the GPU of the graphics card on a Mac as well ... and the 64bit version of Photoshop will be available for the Mac next year .. then we'll compare speed.

    Personally I'd lay the yellow first then the black outline. This would allow me to do like a "color trap" I usually add a 1/16" or 1/8" to my bottom layer (yellow in this case) then overlay the outline. That way if I'm slightly off in my alignment I won't have any white showing. I've...

    I only used Cast materials for long term projects. If you search this site for Cast vs. Calendared you'll get a bunch of useful knowledge. For what your describing I'd use 3M-IJ180 w/ 3M 8518 (or 8519) laminate.

    You need to make sure that you cut the yellow area's out of the black... If it was me I would add a about an 1/8" outline to the yellow so when you overlay the black you don't have to be 100% on your alignment. Like this...

    Yeah, I'm not sure self adhesive vinyl is a listed component. I do know that 3M Panaflex is UL recognized component if your building a sign with a flex face.
