I am a "wing it" kind of guy....No matter what "good" advice I read here, if I decide to do something different sign related, it will likely be without the benefit of learning somewhere else and under someone else.... These days there is so much information out there....One does not have to ask...

What is the difference?....They look a little different but I think they function pretty much the same.....

A few years ago I saw the front of a pizza place.....Apparently they could not get a permit for a large lighted sign, so they built a large bottle rack on the roof.....They collected various colors of wine bottles, put them in a strategic pattern in the rack and back lit them.....

These things are just not quick......I mostly use Franklin Bronze but it has been a while....

Corel and Illustrator are just 2 different programs....Just because each of them can open each others files does not mean they will get it right 100% the time.....As you have so painfully found out.....
