  1. How to align OBJECTS to path in Coreldraw...?

wow, that actually worked, kind of screwy to do so ... but putting the blend to a new path works great. kudos on letting us see a different PATH to the solution!
  2. Best setup for abstract art?

By the way, if you see a jazz themed painting at an art fair and it's signed H.N.G. it stands for "Hot Nuts Guff"
  3. Best setup for abstract art?

It depends on the market. Couple years back I had a broker that provided original art to interior design firms and high end furniture boutiques. While prints were easy and cheap and could garner a good profit, they would get work that might be production based paintings and sculptures but...
  4. Sniper school shirt design

My childhood best friend was a sniper ... they are all great guys that serve an important purpose. (couple nuts, but far less than chance of that than riding the bus) Besides, Pantex brings a lot of work to this area (and a lot of protesters) both of which spend money in the area so I'm making...
  5. Sniper school shirt design

I actually included all 50, but with it being partially obscured I made the design choice to make it look good vs being completely visible and to not read as tiny dots. But yeah, you have to have the stripes right even if you have to fudge the stars around a little. while the coloring isn't...
  6. Best setup for abstract art?

I don't see any offense in this post, as I was quite irate when I read this thread I responded as such. I'm fine with reselling it's part of business. as of last month I make half my income from original fine art (are lease/rentals, sales, print sales, reproduction agreements, commissions...
  7. Best setup for abstract art?

Oh, and just so I'm a little helpful and not just reacting to how insulting this attempt is ... You want to do this art yourself? 1. take one of your 'three warehouses' and designate a production art area. 2. you hire production artists to make your work. 3. pay them decently as they will...
  8. Sniper school shirt design

Not really ... it's for the Pantex sniper school ... nuke assembly and break down plant ... sniper school is for their snipers to stay sharp and make sure no one gets funny ideas.
  9. Best setup for abstract art?

This is the biggest load of hoakie b.s. I've read ... no one gives a flying **** if you sell on the internet ... the main fact that you went with overseas production of art is the issue and now you want to come on here, ask for info on how to even cut them out ... you're an *** to the 10th...
  10. Sniper school shirt design

local sniper school is looking to get shirts done for one of their classes, this is what I came up with based on their needs. Does anyone have any critiques for the shirt design in case I'm missing something that looks off?
  11. Best setup for abstract art?

First, I would like to thank you for supporting artists in the united states, not china. That is REAL helpful. This really makes me as an abstract artist want to help you. Second, if your work you are getting is original and now you want to do PRINTS ... why the **** are you even on here...
  12. Canvas Prints Stretched on to Frame

I've seen three like this, one is basically a masonite substrate with 2x2 risers on the back to frame the work, then it is wrapped like a standard canvas (with back staples) the second I've seen is basically the same thing, but it is secured with adhesives like a piece of wallpaper or a cheap...
  13. City of Amarillo logo ripoff

Amarillo has made me sad when I read of this the other day ... they allocated $30k inhouse to produce this logo and end up copying someone else's work. I have half a mind to send them mockups on logos with my rates to fix their **** up.
  14. Customer buys printer

Lam his prints for him ... I like the idea of $4 a sq foot. If he does decide to call it quits, let him know i'll buy his roland for $500 after he's gummed up all the heads.
  15. Well, Reading made the news again......................

That would mean that they were going for tickets over ... what, $500-1000 ... anything under that and you can just go hand them in at a local ticket place and get your money ... I don't know a single gas station in town here that makes you fill the back out or gives a flying **** about who...
  16. JHill, Tiki, Fred, anybody??

Indeed you are correct ... guess that is how they got away from calling it century gothic ... change the a and add an offset curve to the top of the p and r
  17. JHill, Tiki, Fred, anybody??

It's Century Gothic with a 1 point white stroke to thin it up and had the tops of the letters tweaked a tad bit.
  18. Roland GX 24 not cutting all the way..

Really? I thought there was some fancy term for it ... learn something new every day.
  19. found an old file that made me giggle like a school girl.

First, I know ... it's all vector stock ... it was more an expression of anger that I made this (and turned it into a series of shirts) So here is the backstory, when I moved to Texas ... the dmv got my name wrong. Not only did they have my old drivers license and the form with my name correct...
  20. Post "YOUR" business logo

I don't really have a logo anymore. I went with something simple but highly customized to be unique that fits me if my business starts to move away from signs or such. (which it did) I had this name for a few years ... an attempt at making a merch company that does silly graphics and posters...
