Have you tried exporting the file as TIFF and sending that file to print? Also try setting your Gradient Fill Rendering Intent to 'Perceptual'

Replace the cutting strip and/or blade holder.... have you extended the blade tip out of the blade holder a bit more? Is the blade holder securely tightened in? Is it only on the corner, start, or end of the cut? same error in same place on specific letters only?

If they are labeled as SS21 instead of SS2... you were shipped the wrong product from what you ordered.

Not likely in my opinion. Take the yellow chip off and put it on another color cartridge and insert it... if recognized, it should prompt you about wrong color. If it still doesnt read the chip, then you know for sure.

You might try a Matte Finish Laminate... a bit rougher surface might allow the roller-ball to track better.
