    There was a known bug with SignLab 7 and Versaworks years ago but I have not heard any complaints for a long while... What exact version of each program do you have installed?

    Can you pull your logs and get IP or anything? If vendor is from China, good luck. Make it a policy to change email/account passwords on a weekly basis if necessary to avoid again...

    I believe it is a spacer to help keep the guide flat, as to not lift one edge of it up and reduce the potential of head strike. Could also be there to disperse heat? If the metal guide takes on too much heat, maybe it will tend to stick to the media..?
