    That is what I got from the manual "carriage obstruction". Couldn't find any but haven't had any problems since.

    Mine will do that occasionally. Does yours have an alarm going off also? I just shut mine down and turn it back on and everything works fine. Tech guys at Signwarehous couldn't tell me what it was and it's not really mentioned in the maintenance manual.

    Acording to Signwarehouse the Q series is made by Graphtec to there specs. I've had a Q75 for two years now and love it.
