That's the cutter I use. It works great! The accuracy is very nice, and it's very simple to use. It has a couple quarks (everything does), but nothing to worry about. I use Onyx, so I can't say anything about using it with Wasatch. I think you'd love it!

It turns out I'm installing the font correctly - Onyx doesn't like it. I installed a couple of other True type fonts, and they work, but not the one I need to!

After adding a font in Onyx through it's font manager, it doesn't appear in the list of fonts when I want to choose it for use in variable data. Anyone know about this? :thankyou:

I use the X-Rite DT-P70 for a Mutoh VJ1604. Whatever model is most suitable for you - GET ONE. DO NOT LIVE WITHOUT IT!

At that width, I just lay the tape out on the table adhesive side up, and then lay the graphic onto it and squeegee against the backer. No mishaps or bubbles.

I think if someone were to use these things to "go into business", and it actually affects yours - you may be doing something wrong.

Sounds like it's cutting what you're telling it to. If I understand correctly, you need to have it cut separate "box" areas - not the paths that appear to be boxes made by intersecting lines separated visually on screen by the stroke weight.
