In Illustrator I merge the fills of the letter & shadow to become one Cut Contour path.

I haven't had quite the same problem, but I do get the best 4-pass results when I print Fine & Wave effect. I wonder if it prints a bit bit too fast for the firing to stay consistent.

I should have written it down. What I did discover is that if I'm going to need to use all 3 rollers and put the left one on a roller and restart the machine it usually works out...? I'm sure it will happen again, and I'll write it down.

Kind of forgot about this problem, but now I'm in need of resolving it again. It simply won't load the material if I use all three pinch rollers. It takes a sheet in and acts like it's going to be fine, and then the head moves back to the right hand side and there it sits. I can move the left...

Not very efficient, but hunt & peck and write down which key it was.

From what I've heard Anapurna makes good stuff, but don't expect them to back it up for long.

Thanks Kevsign - I'm going to do that. What's interesting is that in the process of trying to make it print without the heater (which it wouldn't do) I restarted the machine again and lost the connection. I fixed the ip on the printer, and now it prints without the heater on. I've some more...

The dryer heater on my 1604 isn't working. Anthing I should know before I start taking things apart to find the fuse? . . . Is it the fuse?

Using all three pinch rollers is hit or miss when loading material. It has quite a hard time knowing what to do when the left roller isn't pushed all the way to the end of the machine. Anyone have this problem and know of a "fix"?

I've had that happen, also. Then it started happening while printing. It turned out that things become a little out of line around the head station. I don't know the name for it, but that tab on the left side of the head station is mounted to a bracket that ends up with some slop. There's one...

HHHmmmm.... Are there some settings in your printer output suppressing layers, effects, etc..?

For a quick print save it as a .jpg (separate file just for getting the print).

I have a line a great deal directly through Fuji. I'll just say along the lines of half price @ half used. I've looked at samples and thought they were on the good side of average, but I couldn't justify the combination of quality, price & speed. However, at a great price it may be worth going...
