I am going to order one of these in a 65" or the model right above it. What were some of the user errors that were in your learning curve? Maybe I can avoid some of them.
Sounds like some mixed opinions. I am pretty handy with a weenie roller so I could roll it out (I personally hate foam rollers). Some mentioned spraying over vinyl with liquid lam. Is there a product that can be purchased from a paint store that works well for spraying over vinyl?
Do you have to use a special transfer tape with this product? Big Fish, what is your opinion as to the durability of this product compared to HTM2? I assume that shipping is additional to this price. Shipping to 79109 for 1 roll of 24" at a time and for 2 rolls at a time. Thanks, you can pm...
I was getting ready to do a 4'x 8' sign on Alu polymetal. I was going to order a gloss red sheet and decorate with cut vinyl. Now the customer wants a 5' x 10' double sided and I can't order the sheet pre-painted. The customer doesn't want wood. Should I order a 5' x 10' of poly-metal and...
I have heard some really good things about the new design that master is selling. I don't have one but would like some real feedback from people that do.
Summit, I am currently using Rolands new HTM2. Would you PM me what you have to give for this product as I am looking for a more cost competitive material.
This new solution is a PITA as well. I don't want to mask 4' x 10' pieces of laminate. That being said, maybe I will switch brands of lam as the BS is my favorite tool in my shop, that and the 3/4" plate glass that covers my tables.
I will be working my a$$ off for the next three days trying to catch up and not loose any customers that have been waiting far too long for designs and finished products. This one man show has got to get some help.
anotherdog, I think that it has to do with how tacky the release is and that the backing paper is thin. The backing doesn't want to let go and gets tucked under the squeegee bringing the whole operation to a grinding halt.
A roland might be a good choice but you would have to sell tens of thousands of these to justify such a purchase. Why would you not hire your your printing of your designs?
