Mostly, I use is 3mil. <shrug> I know some material is a lot thicker, and most cast stuff is 2 mil. No idea how hick it is with the backing on there though.

Who is to say someone didn't put the banana there for the test? A coconut tree doesn't have branches like a banana tree does, so the Lion wouldn't be able to climb it nearly as easily. The chimp either - not being able to swing from branch to branch, which leaves the squirrel and the giraffe...

I've got an old ford diesel with a 30' Altec on it (maybe it's a 35'... I don't go that high) we do installs - I was thinking about hiring someone to go out and hang Christmas lights with it.

The first person to ever eat one of those must have been REALLLLLY hungry.

You could maybe go to the hardware store and buy one of those rolling tape measures, and affix it to the roller, it would tell you how many feet, give or take you have spun. *shrug*

Another thing about running that without a vent is the humidity levels you will see.. one of the byproducts burning that fuel is water, and without a vent, it just goes into the air in your shop.

Funny, I was just thinking about this material. You want to laminate this with a CAST laminate. I use 8518 with it. I got a sample roll of the stuff when I purchased my printer, and have used it very sparingly - It's worth its weight in gold apparently... because that's about what it costs :)...

I was kind of thinking you should go out and get a few more customers .. that way you could do your own production. I can't imagine trying to do anything on a professional level if I had to sub out all of my production.. I think I would be better off just working for someone else at that point...

LOL. Daige has a steep learning curve thats for sure. It has taken me nearly a year to get mine to where I can really laminate without worrying about ruining prints. (Now I can run 50 feet or more through without any problems on a consistent basis). I don't even want to think about how much...

I went with the static cling idea, and sold them on the fact that they could then use the same graphic on their store window for the rest of the holiday season. Bought it in white, so they will have to apply it to the exterior side of their windows .. but I hope it will be okay that long...

Funny, I have yet to need static cling yet. EVER. I always managed to talk people out of it, because it seemed like a hassle. I guess that would be cool, they could then use it on the window of the office for the rest of the holiday season.
