take your ai file and open it in photoshop - it will rasterize the file. convert to cymk then save as a tiff.

just good habit to save as a tiff from photoshop. tiff maintains the transparency so if my final composition is done in AI I still have transparent background off a cropped image. my old seiko 64s with wasatch rip only read tiff, eps, and pdf files.

sorry to bust your bubble but your still on the Mutoh boat... sort of. The epson GS6000 is a mutoh 1614 with epson electronics and epson head. Mutoh assembles the Epson GS6000 in AZ. Not a bad thing though the Epson GS6000 is a great printer. I have one.
