If you are just doing a small volume of banners have you thought about subing them out? There is a vendor on here that is selling printed banners for about the price that you could print them on your new xc. Unless you are doing hundreds and hundreds of them this might be an attractive hassle...

I am having the same issues. Mine works ok for me when mounting prints but when trying to use thin backed laminate like 210 I have followed the special instructions using double sided tape and a wound core with no real luck at all. I am not putting down force and I bet that it is requiring...

Speaking of overlaps, wrapswrapswraps, what do you normally use for an overlap. We are a new operation and have applied vehicle lettering and graphics but no wraps. I am getting ready to do my own trailer and don't know how much overlap I should use. But don't worry it will still be done...

Jim, I think that is fine for a business model that almost exclusively deals with customers on account, I don't think the 2% discount would do much to entice the "buddies" not wanting to pay at a shop that deals primarily c.o.d.

I moved mine recently. It is easy to get off the stand and I set the unit on a mattress, then secured it. About five hours for me as well. I did not remove inks, there is a headlock on the back or bottom of the unit (it's blue). Good luck.
