It's light banding lines. Almost looks slightly purple/magenta. The black seems to be ok.

We are having trouble printing a solid 2x8 navy blue sign. It keeps banding. We've done a thorough cleaning, cyan alone prints fine, we previously did a solid red print and it printed great...it's just the navy blue. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Yes, we've done a complete reboot, cleaned up by the belt, the heads - also have done a powerful cleaning. Still having the same problem. After doing a test print, the yellow seems to be good, but there is def. a problem with black & cyan. After cleaning, and doing the test print, cleaning...

Not sure if I can explain this, but I'll give it a try to give an example- A half inch or so light smeared area is appearing around everything printed. For example, we printed the letter R in cyan and the R has what almost looks like a half inch outline in light smeared cyan around the actual...

We haven't used the bulk ink, but have been using the cartridges for over a year and are very pleased. The colors look great. Even a tech who came to fix our printer couldn't believe how well the colors looked.

Thanks Jill, that was my plan. I would rather use Alumalite anyway since it's going to be a long term sign and in a very visable location. New material, apply the graphic, laminate...no time at all. Prep. the old material, etc. too much time!
