  1. Adobe Illustrator - Don't Go to Work without It

It's inevitable that you'll see less of me this summer. We’re Moving, new location, busy time of year, family, new house, another class, and just plain old busy. Not to mention that I'm trying to put together a meet in southern Maine but it looks like an endeavor that I’ll have to work on for...

    Using Stevo's techniques . . .

I used Stevo's techniques at his Letterville step-by-step to create this little neon looking gem. It was a fun little project and I used tools I don't normally get to use when creating graphics for cut vinyl.
  3. Adobe Illustrator - Don't Go to Work without It

After sending you a file a couple weeks ago, I am seriously considering this upgrade. I recently set up corel's user interface to look like Adobe in hopes that a transition will be a little easier. I anticipate that during the move to the new shop and possibly the purchase of a digital printer...

  6. Cutting smooth arcs and circles

Hmmm Fred, That sample looks aweful familiar. I had the same problem with cnc plasma cutter a year ago. The problem resulted from the resolution the dxf was saved at. On another note, Fred is doing a little project for me and I unknowingly sent him a file bogged down in nodes. This was a...

  10. Font Info please

I'm convinced that it's an AutoCAD font named ROMANS that has had minor modification to the letter "R" and kerning set at 75%. The rounded edges would come from an .070 felt tip pen in the plotter. Common tools of the trade in cabinet shops. I use this font every day in mechanical drawings...

  17. Krylon Fade

    Krylon Fade

Toy drum with Oracal 651 and fade created with Krylon spray paint in a can. The effect was created by spraying over the edge of a peice of cardboard about 8" above surface. Prior to spraying, I outlined the cuts with a blue Stabilo pencil so I knew where the graphic was on the vinyl film...

  19. Cast Your Vote - Dreem Time Contest

Must be nuts, :Big Laugh I don't know Fred, the whole idea of having a billboard parked in my driveway professing to the whole neighborhood that I was nuts just doesn't do it for me. On the other hand, I can see the benefit of such a service in the case of a natural disaster, shool incident or...
