WOW..................Nobody said anything bad about this guys or gals cutter. That rant was a little unexpected if you ask me. Unless you take "CHEAP RUBBER" as an insult.
Ken, his post is in the "General Software" area. That is what this is for, to help people when having problems with software. Vista is software. Not trying to be rude, but more than just signs and sign software can be talked about.
Customer wants this font. Any ideas? I just can't find it. We have found some close that with modification will work but we have to do 30+ differant decals and would like this font if possible.
It is the JATO font.
Just set it up as a CE3000 and it will cut fine. If you are going to cut printed graphics let me know and I will explain how to set it up for that as well.
Start your cutter like you are setting it up to cut. Once it it ready to cut press "pause", then press "next" until you see "command" then press "enter". It probably says GP-GL. Press the up arrow so it says HP-GL then press enter, enter, pause and you should be all set.
I do believe there is a spring system inside that is sticking. That is why it wont slide up on it's own. Open it up and clean and lubricate the moving parts very carefully and it should work fine for you.
