Hi Peter, Maybe Digiprint can help you? if not in their shop, contact them, i had some luck a few times with other parts that they managed to get hold of them. If not you could and it's a mainstream part Summa uses then you can get lucky as RS

Flexi. Reason: because it was bundled wit the HP 31x series. Works with my HP 315 & 310 Latex and D160r Summa cutter. Let's say its not bad at all. Contourcuts even cuttroughs work, but i still set the force on my Summa itself. I do it because for each media it's different and tends to change...

Jup, had it happening last week. It's quite easy to fix it. i'm by no means an HP Tech, but i wouldn't leave the printer too long without fixing it as i guess it could give extra problems (air in ink? ink drying?). Thx Balstestrat for the solution.

I had a Mutoh VJ1304 and compared to an HP Latex it feels a bit the same. The only downside of a latex is when putting its print next to a solvent or uv print. Those have more resolution. But then the latex is nicely ready to use the second it's printed and is fairly scratchresistant. I don't...

I cannot agree more, the Summa D series has me stumped at how small you can cut with these with really good accuracy (ok, ok, i would lie should i not tell you that now and then i do have soms quirks with them, but honestly that's with about any make/type that i ever used). I feel these cutters...

Hi All, i have an option to buy a used S160T. I currently have a D160R. An S2 160T isn't a real option for my budgetwise, but since this S160T is crossing my path i'm really tempted. I'm just wondering what the difference is between the (original) S160T and the S2 160T? Thanks for any insights...

I think the 1400 feeds its ink directly from the cartdridges which reside on top of the printhead itself. On first startup it will do its init procedure and do a cleaning to fill up the printhead with ink. you should be fine, even after so many years :-)

My 5 cents: While its missing parts you cannot test the machine, hence even if its only the carriage thats missing you’re buying blind… follow your head, not your heart on this one or find the part, go to the seller, put it in and test the machine prior to buying it.

I have the other side of an 310 spindle where the gear part has broken of. Does someone have any good manual or hint how to disassemble that part as to replace it with a new gear part? Thx for any help.
