Keencut Javelin -- I've used one for 10 years and love it... You can place the thing on coro and it will not move -- easy cutting and the blades that come with the thing (made in UK) last forever -- I got a box of 20 blades with the cutter and still have 12 left. I've actually cut 6mm Sintra...

  6. LED Twinkle

If you're into DIY, then there are plenty of DIY projects out there that could be relatively easily adapted to LEDs in channel letters. Most use either a RaspberryPi or an Arduino for controllers. Might be pricey for your customer, but this kind of special request warrants extra charges.

  12. Question Should I Dare Ask?

The layout is kinda clunky and distracting and many elements are unnecessarily large and contrast-y. A post with a single line takes up more than half my screen. Not a pleasure to view and use. It almost, but not quite, seems that it was set up for the visually impaired. IMHO, IP.Board...

  17. Go Big Or Stay Home!?

Stay with that. A larger operation would mean much more overhead and tighter margins as you begin to compete more closely. My experience is roughly 10% net with a larger operation. So, by increasing your company's size, you'd need at least a $million + in sales just to match where you are now...
  18. Question Resize Poor Picture

The software that I've used in the past has "fractal" in the name - that's all I remember -- but even their own recommendations were such that they said don't expect to maintain quality past a two- or three-fold increase in resolution. But it does work well enough to add a bit of resolution to...
  19. Question Resize Poor Picture

Just go ahead and print it... should look fine from about 60 feet! Maybe use the "Enhance" button. "Got an image enhancer that can bitmap?" Seriously, though, in the real world that aint happening. There are some programs and methods to double and triple the resolution of images but you'll...
