Not sure if you're still having the issue, but we clean with 91% IPA using a shop rag and then use Techspray Zero Charge on coro, also with a shop rag. I've found that spraying the IPA and the Techspray on the rag as opposed to directly on the material makes a difference also.
We also run a...
How many alignment pins does the printer come with? Can you order extras?
Does the white ink have a tendency to yellow like other UV inks?
Sorry for all the questions. Just getting a little amped while waiting to hear back from the distributor.
Great. We do a lot of printing on PETG and acrylic. How's the adhesion of the ink?
We do print a lot of small, pre-cut faces which currently involves setting the table up, taping off areas, aligning each face individually... It's very tedious and it takes a long time to setup and break down...
We were actually looking at the Impala. If it works as advertised, it seems like it would be pretty much perfect for us. I'm really interested in the tandem and we do a lot of white printing, so those are two features that are really standout.
We had originally ruled out the swissQprint, but we're going to take a look at it. I know you had previously mentioned the price range was in the $300 to $700k range, but do you have any idea how much a comparable model to the previously mentioned printers would run? We're waiting to hear back...
Hello, friends!
Back with a couple more questions for folks who may run or have experience running the Oce Arizona 660 GT or the EFI VUTEk H2000 Pro. We were initially looking at the Oce Arizona 480 GT, but after some consideration we're going with either the 660 GT or the VUTEk H2000 Pro. I'm...
Do you happen to know what kind of price range they fall into?
How good is the quality? The website says it has nine picoliter drops, I'm just wondering how that compares to a six picoliter printers like the Oce (or even our Rastek).
Looking for some honest opinions from users of the 480GT. Hoping to get some feedback before we jump in with both feet. What kind of issues are we going to run into with it? What do you like about it and what's the worst part about it?
Our main concern is reliability and consistency. Our current...
Are you using perfect/square cut material? There's a pretty good chance your 4'x8' sheet isn't actually 4'x8'. Coro and styrene especially are almost always at least 1/4" big and rarely square.
Yeah, the print quality is amazing when it's working properly. Which for us is about two weeks out of every month.
We currently have Fiery and the GUI running on the T1000 PC, which we're now being told (after two years) is a bad idea. So we're in the process of shifting Fiery to another PC...
95% of the time we cut our acrylic in the laser before we print. If it's too big to go in the laser, we cut the acrylic to size and finish the edges before printing. On rare occasions we'll finish the edges after a print if we absolutely have to.
Our T1000 just had its carriage control board replaced for the third (maybe fourth, I've lost track) time since the beginning of December. I'm pretty sure every board in the thing has been replaced no less than three times.
It's newest trick is stopping prints halfway through with the message...
I've actually heard the exact same thing.
T1000 is currently down (again). Just had the carriage control board replaced (again) at the beginning of the month. So... I guess we'll just wait and see.
Kind of bummed that nobody has any answers, but it is good to know that we're not crazy and...
We have a list of issues with our T1000 that looks eerily familiar to yours. We've been through so many boards, pumps, and valves it's not even funny any more. Even the fans for the UV lamps seem to burn up at an alarming rate. I was hoping to come here and find someone with solutions, but it...
