mimaki has no auto cut off. corel works fine with both machine. i in the same boat as u want to upgrade but can l cant make the decision yet. saw both machines.

for sale signs, windshield banners.small decals for bikes or bicycles and sell to hobbyist. the rest goes to the trash or high school art department. but i kid u not for sale signs and wind shield banner buys new roll.

it works, but it will fail quickly. wouldn't steak my reputation on it. if unprinted it work for two years. just by envision combo. will give u three years and a piece of mind.

brain over load.o_O used mutoh with one year warranty, roland with warranty or mimaki with warranty. and finaly i want to get the mimaki cgsr111 lots of huge decisions.

maybe i am stuck in my old ways. but i not switching to latex,not cost effective consumables. i only use 3m for wraps and thats it.

stay away from Chinese printers. software and color matching is a pita.

jpeg web res. if u want a pdf save a low res jpeg. open with illustrator and re save. that how i was thought when i learned the trade.

love the mutoh but i looking at a higher color gamut cmyk lc lm. want to do higher end stuff. still have a old machine i can run stuff for cheap. but i want some thing to do full wraps. no banding lines. smooth gradations. good colour matching.
