there is a menu in the control panel that allow to print on one head, it is called head mode.....shouldn't be too hard to find. It's in one of the top setup menus, or it will be in the users manual, I am in the field and cannot look up now
You may need a printhead if the missing nozzles are consistent and especially if there is nozzle deflection around it That may be a European Model so I may not be able to get parts for it....if you send the serial number I can verify origin
It isn't the most difficult part to replace.....you need to remove the top right cover, control panel and side right covers....I can get you the pages from the manual I can also get the part for you...it is $227
Where are you located?
A weak pump cap can cause this as the pump cap is responsible for getting the head primed up to print ........I would replace those. You mentioned the heads, dampers etc were replaced already?
I would make sure the Auto Clean feature is turned off. Some printers have an option as to how many cleanings to run if clogged nozzles are detected example 1-5 ....There may also be a driver setting where this is located for each job. If that doesn't do it, I might do a firmware upgrade.
you might want to replace the pump cap, it may not be properly priming the magenta line......try another magenta ink if you have one and you may then have a head issue I can get parts if you need them
There is some serious nozzle deflection that points to a faulty head, I would definatley try to clean the face of the head and pour some solution on the caps and let soak and then run cleaning, but the head is likely going to have to be replaced.....I am an authorized Epson tech and can help you...
It is definately one of the heads, I am an authorized tech and have done many of these....I have seen that error caused by a fuser on the old GS6000. These fuses are are user replaceable anyways, they are micro soldered on the main boards. Is this printer under warranty? Is Decision One...
The dampers are housed in the duct assy which plugs into the top of the head, they can clog up and cause issues. The ink is under high pressure so you need to run the inner tube reduction procedure from the adjustment program before disconnecting the ink tubes from the duct assy. This pressure...

Image Authentics is correct, always check medis first, most tech's have very little printing experience and do not see the odd paper issues that users see like this
You may want to unplug it and remove the top right cover to access the lever, youwill need to remove the screws on the handles and the control panel as well as a few screws on the top cover.....maybe the small think plate on the right as well
I find that users often are not completely accurate in the time the printer has sat for.....it is often years, not months......if you can do a nozzle text, that is going to be a good idea of condition
There are some advanced cleanings if you can get your hands on a adjustment program that Epson provides to it's technicians. I am authorized Epson service, but cannot give you the program. I would introduce the cleaning fluid to the caps and them park the head on them and let them sit for a...
If it is intermittent, it is unlikely a configuration issue. If you print a nozzle test before and after printing are you missing nozzles? You could have an ink starvation issue which could be caused by a number of things, such as a bad ink cartridge (unlikely unless they are aftermarket), a...
If your vertical lines are not OK, you may want to try to adjust the feed.....there are micro adjustments that you can do to underfeed or overfeed to get rid of that. You may also want to try to see if you can try uni vs bi directional although that is not likely to help.
