  1. Best practice for cut vinyl ACM sign

Cheap is a relative term, everyone is cheap to a certain extent. Push overall value over price, that is really what most people are after. Price seems to be more of a factor when you are comparing options like a flat sign face screwed vs flat sign with hidden fasteners vs a cabinet vs a routed...
  2. Best practice for cut vinyl ACM sign

080 is stocked white on white but you can use mill finish as well. Aluminum holds screws better and has more resistance to tear out from the wind. We always try to use aluminum for signs going on buildings because of this, I don't want one of our signs flying off in a bad storm and causing...

There's a federal color standard (595C) for the Navy, you may be able to ask them for it and cross convert it to a usable format like RGB https://www.federalstandardcolor.com/ https://www.e-paint.co.uk/lab-hlc-rgb-lrv-values.asp This explains what the standards mean...
  4. Best practice for cut vinyl ACM sign

If you needed a black substrate, I'd use 080 aluminum. AFAIK, the finish is baked enamel and holds up well. ACM is generally a cheap substrate IMO
  5. Installation code of conduct agreement?

I remember switching employeers and being able to wear jeans instead of khakis. So nice, haven't wore a pair in 20 years. I hate khakis and tucking in my shirt.
  6. Outboard motor cowling help

Paint it. Cheaper, will look better, last longer and you won't end up with white areas where it can't be wrapped. We have painted a lot of vehicles that were wrapped, sun destroyed it (especially hoods and roofs) and the vinyl couldn't be reasonably removed without damaging the finish...

  10. Rate my very first sign

I'd center up those bullets and get that spacing uniform, little details. Fresh prints also looks far from the by markery studios, both elements kinda hanging on their own IMO.

Yup. Rule #1, don't sell on price. That's what hacks do.
  12. Threat of Closing this year...

I disagree. Been in a lucrative niche my whole life. Cheap people come and cheap people go. Getting in a segment early gives you time to develop your processes to where new entrants, short of a huge corporation, can't survive competing against you. Big corps tend to stay away from the...

Everyone knows that the weak link in business is employees. You can wish all the fundamentals you want onto people but fact is, you have no control over it. So you either stew, bitch and complain thinking it will create some magic resolution and spin your wheels through the duration of your...

It's not a child's toy when you start seeing Canva experience as a requirement in a large amount of digital art/graphic design job postings. It is being used on a commercial level and looks to be ideal for social media campaigns among other things. It's not a good business strategy to ignore...
