  1. HP360 86:01 Error - Paper Jam, but no actual obstruction - Carriage seems difficult to move

Just loosen belt and move carriage by hand. If it doesn’t runs smoothly replace front rod oiler and felts kit. Normally the felts are collecting a mixture of aerosol , ink and oil which causes high friction.
  2. Oce Arizona 480GT roll module banding issue

I heard something from CMYK Engineering. But they sell just ink and chip combination. Never had the possibility to test their stuff. No clue if the rfid can be bypassed. Good luck. But if someone has a high quality ink, they should have the knowledge to make it work.
  4. 350GT Canon Arizona - Z Axis Error / Looking for a Tech

There is no encoder present on 350. Just a light barrier reader for topmost/home. The rest is done by stepping motor. Most probably probably problem is the trailing data cable (firewire800), if u receive z-axis problems. Check logs for intensively increased link errors .
  5. HP R1000 prints scratches very easily....Need Help

Not agree, since the pinch rollers can stop movement for a very short time, but this can affect leading edge misalignment
  6. HP R1000 prints scratches very easily....Need Help

Double sided printing is done on rigids, where you have a defined leading edge. These types of substrate are not in need of high vacuum, since they are not bent under normal circumstances. If you are going on cardboard, edgeholders might be always necessary. And the crash sensors will act before...
  7. HP R1000 prints scratches very easily....Need Help

Thats why I said, to reduce as much as possible. If rigid substrate is not bent, you can go quite low with the vacuum
  8. HP R1000 prints scratches very easily....Need Help

Regarding the „scratches“ on double sided: these are not scratches from the belt. It’s the vacuum sucking partially ink from A-side. Try to reduce the vacuum as much as possible. Scratches during handling can happen easily, since the ink layer is much thinner compared with UV. Lamination is...
  9. Suggestions One UV hybrid printer vs Roll to Roll and Flatbed printer

A hybrid never has the capability to print on porous substrate. The r2r can print the whole day and night, while fb needs the sheets to be loaded. If you are not in need of these possibilities of wider range of substrates or quantities then you can go with hybrid. It saves you space, and time...

  11. Need Onyx 12.2 printer profile for Mimaki UJV55-320

Printquality is not on the level you can reach with Rasterlink. In your case I would go with Mimaki RIP since they control there special pritmodes in the correct manner.
  12. HP 560 streaks on display film

Maybe because of the printbed-design. Does the streaks lineup with the pits and lands of printplaten? Try to reduce vacuum as much as possible.
  13. Need Help Fujifilm Acuity EY

Aquity advance select / Arizona 460 is cheaper an does also has the option to print cmykwv. 480 has ccmmykwv. 660 / 550 is way more expensive due to second row of printheads.
  14. Need Help Fujifilm Acuity EY

nope, software is not prepared to print varnish. Software can just handle cmykw
  15. Need Help Fujifilm Acuity EY

If well maintained this unit is very stable. Varnish is not possible since the process to print and cure varnish is completely different then colors/white.
  16. HP R1000 fuzzy text

If your alignment is done manually with well prepared Printheads , then it might be the best with the actual degradation of ph‘s.
  17. Help with printing on Sihl 3683 with HP 560

12 pass, 110% ink, 180º curing, 30% vac, 30% optimizer. 180º curing is impossible. At first I would reduce optimizer as much as possible. Then reduce curing and drying temperature to lowest value. Curing around 70*C. Slow down printing that substrate is longer in curing chamber at lower...
  18. Need Help Oce Arizona ink vacuum error.

The vacuum error is a sign of high rate of air pump requests. So somewhere meniscus or degass vacuum is dropping frequently, meaning there is a leak somewhere. Air pressure pumps are located near ink pumps. Tubes are going from pumps to pressure sensor on system control pca and to accumulator...
  19. Strange vertical pattern on prints - Oce Arizona

on the legs you won’t be able to adjust head-media-distance. If there is a need to adjust you have to adjust the gantry. And this is not trivial since you have to adjust slant as well. A magnetic dial gauge isn’t helpful since there isn’t any magnetic metal used on accessible parts of carriage...
  20. Strange vertical pattern on prints - Oce Arizona

It’s about the second dropsize. You should leave the 6pl on, but in fact you need to do a new color calibration with this. To check if table is level you can mount a dial gauge to the carriage and with opened drawe you can move carriage over entire table to check for differences. Maybe magnetic...
