Hi I run a Roland vp 540 with flexi sign when I print say black text on dark yellow background the black bleeds into the yellow in standard setting but does not on high quality omits other colours print fine on both

Hi can anyone help in printing solid black onto yellow selected from fill/stroke editor when I use any other background colour it prints fine but when I user the yellow it comes out thick and blurry??? Thanks in advance

Yeh it’s had 4 manual cleans and 4 deep cleans so it’s like you say it’s not from clogging only leaves the expense part

@ solvent ink jet Thanks for replying what you said about the the dot sizes on test print made sense do you think an overnight head soak may help ?

I had a media jam a couple of weeks ago after 3 deep powerful cleans and using up loads of ink no different I don’t get that when I do a print head test it says all nozzles are firing but there’s clearly an issue

I have done the head alignment print in service mode and you see their are lines in the cyan and overspray on left hand side ???? Any ideas on what’s causing it and how to fix it ?

It’s a Roland VP540 and I think you have to enter service mode to test Its says service mode protected when I’m trying …

@ Proofread people The machine was supposed to be reconditioned when I brought it a couple of years ago so I’m not sure if that was one of the parts renewed or not, I you can just run me through the steps to check the print head alignment please
