Any other color experts out there with raster link 5. I have 3 printers...Mimaki JF1631 and 2 of them are off and I would like to find someone that can help me set the colors up. I will pay!!
yeah thought my original post was pretty clear...I know that no two printers print the same. But right now two of my printers are printing the same but the wrong color and one is printing the proper color green.
So, in reality two printers can print the same(or close to it) but what are the...
As mentioned we have 3 JF1631 mimaki printers and I am looking for advice on getting the colors that we print to be as close to identical as possible (within reason) Any tips or advise that I might be missing to do this. We print a bunch of green and right now we have the green we want...
Would love some input on who you all use to ship your flatbeds. The guy was using is no longer in business. Any help would be appreciated. Would need to be a flat bed as I use a crane to unload it. Forklift is on site for pickup.
thanks
Hello, I was out of the office yesterday and my workers ran into a situation where we can not open a file we want to print to change the setups, ie pass number rotation etc. I guess that would be the editor window.
When the window opens it is a blank screen with a few large buttons that say...
I have been sending files to my JF 1631 Mimaki and we changed to CMYK and my blacks are more of a charcoal brey or dark brown. It happens from two different design softwares.
Any idea of how to make my blacks a true black. I have tried making the file CMYK and RGB and no luck
Tekkie, thanks for the input, my tech has since left and he was not real up to speed on the Dual CMYK set up. All I know is right now I have a good test draw on all 8 heads and everything is good I am just not sure if the bottom row of carts are printing or not.
I guess we never saw a place...
I must have completely misunderstood what dual CMYK meant. Based on earlier conversations on here, I was told it would allow me to print at a lower pass rate with higher quality results and your method does not suggest that at all. I am not sure the advantage of your method...usually what I do...
We print on wood and aluminum but would be more concerned about making it right for aluminum. All 3 of my machines are on rasterlink, but for dual CMYK to work do I just use any CMYK color profile? What will make all 8 heads fire? I was under the impression if I use a CMYK color profile then...
Hello, My tech is on site and we have finally changed my JF 1631 over to dual CMYK and now we need detailed instructions on how to set up the color profiles for this. We have rasterlink, can anyone help?
I would really appreciate your time.

Help with profiles for dual CMYK
Tekkie, I need your help hopefully soon.
My tech is on site and we have finally changed my JF 1631 over to dual CMYK and now we need detailed instructions on how to set up the color profiles for this. We have rasterlink, can you help?
We are needing to get rid of a JF1631 Mimaki with no working heads, do any of you out there know if it would have any value or be worth listing on ebay?
If not what can be done with it? Metal scrap yard? Dump? I do not have the room for it but figure there might be some value at the metal...
Thanks Bgraphics, I lowered the head and things got better, problem is my media is not always 100% flat, better buy it flat though huh?!?
Thanks for you help
