Hello After replacing hundreds of heads professionally, no. Mimaki required to flush, Roland didn't. I sometimes forgot it with Mimakis, they always worked anyway.
  2. SP 300 print problem

There is a whole band of nozzles missing an a lot of misfiring. You can try to clean, soak and flush. But after many wasted hours, the head needs replacement. (If you need a decent quality output with sharp text and without ink spraying)

I guess there is... You probably lost the setting in the reinstallation process. Without knowing your cutter type, it's hard to tell. For the cutters I know, it's a cutter setting.

  9. Roland rf 640 from 4 to 8 color conversion

No Bingo!!! you will need to cut and close the connections between the cartridge outlets in the back of the machine. Just open the cover behind the cartridges. There have been black stoppers delivered with the printer. When I remember correctly, Versaworks doesn't support this configuration...
  10. Bn-20 Nozzle

As I mentioned before. Your printhead needs replacement. Your deflected nozzles in black won't go away with soaking. It may even get worse.

  13. VS-540 Not Printing White Again

Hi The cleaning pump is easily replaced. On the cleaning side, there is only one pump for all colors. The recirculation pumps are a pain to replace and there are two of them sharing one motor. These are located in the box under the cartridges.
  14. VS-540 Not Printing White Again

Hi Since the VS is a old printer, I'd take a look at the pumps. I'm assuming the cap top closes air tight... I had cases where the cleaning pump was sucking ink, when I observed a cleaning cycle. But it was not enough, to keep the white going. After I replaced the pump, everything was ok...

  16. SP 540V Cutting Issue

You will probably have to replace the outer pinch rollers (complete with the black part holding the rollers) Look closely at the black parts, where the sit on the actuating rod. They tend to get cracks and don't have the correct spring loaded pressure anymore.

This sounds like your flatcable going to the toolcarriage needs replacement.
  18. Summa Firmware Uprgrade Continual Fail

I can't speak for your dealer, but I'd just come out, backup your parameters, replace the board and see what happens.
  19. Humidifier for EFI 16H Hybrid Flatbed

You should install a osmosis unit in front of the humidification.
  20. HP 570 Yellow Stops Printing

Sounds to me like air has gotten into the system. You can compare the actual y/m printhead weight with a working one. (C/K for example) If it's lighter, then its likely air in the system.
