Forge Graphic Works is hiring!
We are currently looking for a production supervisor. Take a look at the following craigslist posting and let us know if interested. We are located in Portland, Oregon - close to anything you'd like to do. Along with a great city we have what some would argue to...
We finally updated our website. (Hopefully it's live and viewable to everyone this time, I posted last week and it hadn't fully switched over yet)

Give a visit and let me know your feedback!
So we have a seal 62 plus hot/cold laminator that works great and does all we ask of it. But our finishing guys have said when switching from hot to cold, they basically need to stop finishing and wait for the rollers to cool.
We are investigating supplementing our current machine with a cold...
We are in the process of switching out our rip machines to macs, so therefore are looking to unload our old PC RIP stations. They are workhorses and in great shape! Paid $3500 for them one year ago. If interested, please check out the following classified Ad...
As a follow up to the logos thread I posted recently thought I would share some wrap designs as well. Want to stress these are all wraps we designed, not necessarily printed. We do both however!
Feel free to get in touch if you need help with either design or printing of vehicle wraps similar...
So...I have been gathering samples of recent work to include on our new website and thought I would share a sample of logos we've done over the years.
I'll follow up with a sample of wraps as well, please keep us in mind should you need design or printing services for your next project...
Not all advice you'll receive is good advice.

(Take this advice for what it's worth, not much.)
So we just got our 2nd FB700 installed, and are finding in order to get the colors identical between new machine and old machine we need to create a different profile for the 2nd machine. (old machine is still under warranty and was just serviced and calibrated when the new one was installed)...
Greetings, curious if anyone else has this problem when printing black (especially rich black) on fabrics w/ HP latex inks. ink scratching off very easily.
Am wondering if our builds are too rich, or if this is an inherent problem with latex on fabric when lots of ink is being laid down?
We're close to deciding on a new flatbed and am wondering if any others might offer some advice or feedback. We are narrowing it down to either the Oce Arizona 550xt or Agfa Jeti 3020 titan.
Our current FB700 just can't handle the demands we put on it and we need something faster. Anyone own...
We have some installation needs in New Orleans we need assistance with. It'll be pretty simple job, one installer needed for some football goal post pad decals and other smaller decals. Send me a message if interested, thanks!
Hey all,
Just wanted to post some pics of some recent jobs we've completed. It's been quite a run since we opened shop early this year. 101 has been an invaluable part of the process and provided much advice and insights, so thank you!
-The large blazers plaque is an actual sample of the floor...
We are offering a December special where any job printed on our HP LX850 will get free 3 day (standard) shipping. Please email me at chris@forgepdx.com if you would like an estimate or have any questions!
I have found a few times when trying to search for things in the forums I get no results. For instance, I wanna research some new printers so I did a search for "CET" and it comes up with no results. I then did a search for "OCE" and it came up with no results. Are these words just too short?
Does anyone have a reliable resource for domed or "gel-like" sticker production? I've made a few calls just from internet research, but would always prefer a solid lead.
Need a fairly small qty and quick turn, approx 150-300 or so.
Just listed this on Ebay in a no-reserve auction and in the classifieds section. We bought it when we first started and found it way too slow and not appropriate for our needs. Currently used as a backup, looking to make room in our shop.
Maybe it's just what you need...
