Faster for whom? I use a macro that will automatically set my one 18 x 24 to a nest of 10Up. It's a 1 icon click. Publish to pdf to the print "hot folder". All the Print Tech has to do is set up the correct profile for the media then hit go. If I need crop marks I have a macro for that too.

Seems to be the same when using that method in Flexi Print Manager (RIP). That's why any "nesting"/multiple copies is done in the layout then sent for print.

Yes banners are typically made with vinyl. But so are vehicle wraps and decals. I still would not refer to a banner as vinyl. Would be very confusing in our shop. A banner is a banner and vinyl is vinyl.

We haven't upgraded from X7 for the same reviews. Many are having trouble with it. Sluggish, quit responding, etc. Guess we'll be waiting for the 2020 version.

Just saying, being in the sign industry we would not use terms such as "vinyl" to describe "banner" nor would we refer to any rigid substrate as "banner". Yes, I agree that any long run of double-sided printing would be best for a more accurate method than the HP's. Even a 12ft single-sided...

Pretty darn close. But see how towards the North and South the row of circles seem to be on an arc. I believe it's more "true" this way but the one I have seems to be more horizontal.

Tried CorelDRAW envelope but still not as exact as I'd expect. Tried quick trace too. Still not accurate enough. Possibly a 3D program? Maybe a plug-in or macro? Ought to be a way to create a grid of circles then fit them to a globe or sphere shape. Although this one seems to only follow...
