  1. Anyone else hate oracal 3751RA?

Can't help but I can understand how you feel, had some customer supplies printed cut graphics on arlon the other day to install on camper. Holy schizznit that is the stickiest crap around. Hated it. Took entirely too long to apply.
  2. Bumper sticker questions?

Rarely do them any more. Screen print on gloss white vinyl, occasionally do die cut. I plot rectangle for stock with cut lines for nested stickers inside and print.
  3. Lexel cure time lesson learned

I'd make the cleat from acrylic and bond it to the back of sign.
  4. Lexel cure time lesson learned

Shame, that looks like a very nice piece of work. JMO, not near enough adhesive or tape for that application. Maybe a nice thin french cleat instead?
  5. Question Nazdar replacement ink for JFX200.

Not with that product but been using their screen inks over 40 years and used their brand in my seiko colorpainter for years. They are the manufacturer not a reseller, quality has always been there.
  6. Need Help Summa unloading whole roll

Might not help but on my graphtec the initial menu gives you choice between rear set and front set. Front set will try to read the roll to the end first as you are experiencing.
  7. Signlab Changes Colors

    Signlab has its own rip.
  8. Oracal 751 black problems

Two tricks before giving it the ol' heave ho. (1) Try wiping it with a dab of rapid remover and see what happens and (b) quick pass with a heat gun. If those don't work, send it back.
  9. Need Help Signlab to HP365 White to Black Gradient

I no longer have a large format printer but ran a full solvent seiko on signlab for 10 years, maybe this will help, maybe not. I used signlabs 3m high perf profile on everything on the seiko. Banner material, cheap vinyl, IJ180, laminate reverse print for windows, all looked the same.
  10. Need Help! Deleting old graphics ghost letters

Instead of rubbing compound try glaze. Comes in three grades. I use it on semi doors from time to time to get rid of ghosting. Never gets 100% but usually looks much better and happier customer for a little more effort and time that you get to charge for.
  11. Question Reflective Vinyl Peeling

If you spent days reclaiming that metal you might should have started with new. Time is $
  12. Cutting ACM

Small stuff, table saw with triple chip blade, then side of a screwdriver on rough edges to clean up. I keep a sanding block handy for finish edge just to get it sweet.
  13. Replace mist sponge

Not sure about roland but this is how I did it on seiko. When machine is on lift front cover and let it back down, when the head moves to reset lift the cover again to stop it. Service area needed. At that point I could have machine on or off and still move head along track safely.
  14. Pins

    Thanks!
  15. Pins

Looking for a supplier for pins. Military type. Our Regional VFW office is looking for a supplier of shaped, dimensional logo pins full color. Appreciate any suggestions.
  16. Masking tape

Regular masking tape leaves glue behind that you have to clean up and can stick way too well to things way too often. I use blue painters tape for vinyl graphic app and also for taping out my screens for screen printing. It does not leave me wasting lacquer thinner ($$) or time ($$$$) to get...
  17. Need Help Applying Heat to Glass

Last big removal job was 36 panels exterior not too long after I got my arm out of brace from being broken. Hired a window cleaning company to do it. After two days they had cleaned 3 panels and were whining. When I got there to see what was going on they were using 6" razors that they were...
  18. long lasting print on coroplast

Coro is not a long term substrate. That being said whichever substrate best meets your needs, screen printing is still best for long term imo. But even then, reds and yellows will die in the sun first.
  19. Interested in a DTG printer

Kornit is what Fanatics here uses to print professional sports jerseys. Big fat row of em.
