I had the exact same issue right now on my summa s2t160. Unplugging AND restarting the machine helped reseat the usb handshake. Did you ever find out a solution to the issue?

Thanks for your replies everyone! Looking at Epsons lineup and that their resin printers are newer on the market, I'll look into the colorado m2. Won't be moving forward with HP warranty.

Unfortunately, I can only go through HP to setup service with their call center in India. The horizontal motor for the print head broke but they still charged us $60 for something that can not be fixed through remote tech support but I can’t move past the getting a ticket in without paying that...
