Flexi does have an internal barcode server as well. I would recommend creating a parallel workflow using Summa Cutter Control to compare and troubleshoot. If it cut at 90 degrees then that's probably an operator error of some kind.
Really looking forward to this printer. They did the necessary engineering to make the white ink a profit center instead of a loss. A self-mixing tank with user-replaceable heads is where it's at for white. The Whiteness is very high, visual opacity 91% (L*:4.16 – a:0,48-b:2,34) from the...
Gino, long time no see ;) Possibly you have installed a trial that has superseded your old Adobe credentials. If you don't have a cloud subscription then you may have to reinstall in order to fix the issue. Take it one step at a time. Login and see (if you even have a login) to your Adobe...
That's not my experience. The primer does cause this issue because it actually de-primes the head when it doesn't seat properly. also, the priming assembly is a pain in the ass to replace.

Open the file from the Mac and the PC on the computer with the RIP using photoshop and check the working space and embedded profiles.
I think they will maintain the L26500 for quite a while longer. There were some design issues on the first generation and I think I understand why they are discontinuing. They are still workhorses though and they should have had a better plan for ink.
If you are getting a difference when importing a file that's one thing. Once you have the file from the work folder in Onyx it should be a type of raster file with no more interpretation except the RIP settings of course. The Apple os handles embedded profiles differently.
Take what I say with a grain of salt because I understand cash flow is tough and everyone is trying to keep costs down. I have found that file incompatibility and poor performance on the PC/RIP have cost me a lot of time over the years. I have gone to upgrade PC's every 2-3 years and sell the...
I F****** hate self-healing mats. (too many crappy cuts) Rhino would be a good choice but I have found a good supply of thick tempered glass and will never go back.
Sounds like the embedded source profile for the image changed. When dealing with color in a workflow consistency is king but understanding the different parts is even more important. Making sure that you understand all of the steps for color control in the process.

I think there is a known life for some of the components internal to the L25500 that will be difficult to service. That being said I think that it is stupid for them not to have an exit strategy for these customers. It's not very good customer relations and HP forgets we have these older...
1. Check your coroplast for the buildup of plasticizers. You can use a Dyne kit or you can wipe with alcohol on one side to compare performance.
2. Make sure the Lamps are in good shape. Have a calibrated light puck to see how many Jules you are throwing down. Be consistent. (also running too...
