  1. Sublimation equipment advice needed

I am using the Roland RE-640 with the Sensient Bulk system. Love it. It's been installed for close to a year and I have only replaced one print head cap. Very reliable compared to an Epson system. Vivid colors and better light fastness compared to Sawgrass inks. Jake
  2. HELP! Need sublimation papers printed

I need some sublimation papers printed ASAP. My 4800 just died and we are looking at a new system but time constraints force me to try and outsource. The prints would be 13" x 68", I will need six total, all one file. Need to pay with my AmEx Corp card. Please let me know if there is anyone out...
  3. Magenta shadow on Black

Is there a way to turn off the color correction in Versaworks? So if you wanted to print K100 it would only print K100. I know you can in Onyx.
  4. New Flatbed Printer: Swissqprint oryx

Oce could either be adding more CA4 heads or go with the new CE2 head with more channels to get the added speed. They would probably go with the latter due to the cost of re-engineering the print carriage and all of the peripherals. The CE2 head is native 300 dpi vs 150 dpi for the CA4 head...
  5. New Flatbed Printer: Swissqprint oryx

This is basically a re-worked Zund 215. I guess the print quality is great but price is a bit steep. I was told 210K base w/ 4 printheads. I would wait for the new faster Oce machine coming in a few months.
  6. New eco friendly HP9000s ink has BIG color shifting

We have just switched to the Seiko inks for our 9000. The new 791's have been nothing but a headache; clogged nozzles, colorshift, leaking carts. So far, the Seiko inks are working very well. I will probably switch back to the HP 790 inks once they are avalible again, as they can produce a more...
  7. Gandinnovations 1224 or Fujifilm Acuity Advance

The reason I have settled on the Gandi or Acuity is, I need a dedicated flatbed for the materials we print. Any machine with a vacuum transport belt is not an option. If I were printing normal sign substraights I would be looking at a Vutek, or maybe the HP FB950. Thanks for your input.
  8. Gandinnovations 1224 or Fujifilm Acuity Advance

Hello all, I have been testing the Gandinnovations Nanojet 1224 and the Fujifilm Acuity Advance during the past year. Both machines have the quality and through-put I need. Any body have input to help me make my decision? I'm leaning towards the Gandi just because it needs to be a production...
