    Im trying to make a switch to cheaper mactac products, but it seems like my printer doesnt want me to. everytime we try to run sample prints with this material, we get a ton of crap in the print, almost like there is a bunch of dirt on the media...but there isnt. does anyone have this same...

  3. Overspray??

    We have an SC-540 and everytime we print black on banner media we have a ton of over spray. When we print on normal digital media there is no problem. At first we thought it was static, but that did not solve the problem. Any ideas????

  4. need profile so i can print from flexi

    I use flexi 7.5 for my sc-540 and have found it impossible to find profiles from manufacturers or roland. So We just use one generic profile that seems to work well for all of our media's.

  5. Ghost image, Image is blurry

    I have an sc-540 printer...we just changed the yellow head yesterday. The tech did all the alignment stuff that goes with the replacement, so why am i still getting a bit of a ghost image? How is this corrected, another alignment?

    Already tried that, the seal seems fine....everyone here seems to think its the head since its pretty old. so we are going to try that out and see if that works.

    thank you for the help. It appears we are going to be having a tech come out and install this bad boy....thank god. Alittle to much work for someone who just started using this machine.:clapping:

    Has anyone changed heads for this model? If so, what do I need to do? I know how to get the old one out and put the new one in, but is there any settings I need to mess with on the printer itself?

    Was wondering if anyone that uses this model of roland has tried using eco-sol ink from ElevenTen Color...recently we were forced to switch our ink due to a threat of no emergency tech service. Has anyone tried this ink? It seems to be giving us nothing but problems...colors arent right at all...
