So we are working this machine to death I think, but today the ARMS red light is on and none of the buttons are working. This machine is "frozen". Any tips? Not sure what to do with it. It won't size the material or anything. just done. Could use any thoughts...I'll try them all ;)
thank you
Anybody know how to fix this so the print lines up right. Probably a simple fix, but I can't find any info and just seem to be spinning my wheels with everything I try...
Thanks I think I'll give Casey a call soon. I have had one system built and it just seems that having someone without a good knowledge of this business build it isn't a good idea.
Thanks for the tips.
Wow...I guess I should speak in full sentences:
I have a server that houses all of the designs, important files, etc
it is setup on a network directly wired to a dedicated rip/print workstation
there are 3 other computers on this network (all are equipped with it's own copy of flexi and...
I have a 17" Dell Precision Laptop that is insanely heavy for a laptop. So, I'm thinking of downgrading my portable and picking up a desktop to use in house as a workstation...
I design primarily in flexi and photoshop and right now if I have both open (which I do often moving from one to...
just read this:
Richard:
I wish I had a dollar for the many times I have received a call from a customer stating I changed my printheads and now I cant print nothing, it goes through the motions but no ink is coming out...
Usually when I hear that they changed their own printheads and now...
You can buy extended warranty...or just put back some cash for fixes later. It is mechanical and will need repairs over time. FACT.
SW support is open until 11pm...others until 5pm. And after the original warranty period, phone support from our vendor (not SW) is $120 per hour...OUCH...
We replaced the printhead and cables in our 1204 and everything looks fine...ink in lines and dampers, but it isn't printing anything...can't align with no print...anybody know what I've missed?
It's strange...on the vertical lines on the nozzle check (the black) it looks like tiny ink drops are running next to the line...gives the appearance of a second "dotted" line.
Bearings clean...we clean those pretty regularly so didn't think it too necessary. I used a little alcohol as you...
I was just reading your thread about your printer...seems to be a pretty similar problem going on here. I've got a shadow effect on the palette. Mainly noticeable on the darker colors...primarily with black involved. Did you resolve your issue? What did you determine it to be?
Yeah, I was thinking connections
The cyan looks fine...I think that is just the scan...I see what you are talking about
I was thinking main board but none of the techs are looking in that direction yet.
I did try the unidirectional print, upon your suggestion...no real change. The fuzzy look...
Thanks for the input. I've thought that a couple of times (electrical)...just based on what I've read hear and there...but it seems unlikely. The setup has been the same for 2+ years...throughout the entire building to my knowledge. Unless there have been some external changes that I'm not...
Our 1204 is printing very fuzzy vertical lines...horizontal is fine.
So far we have:
done pf adjustment
q-adjustments
reinstalled firmware and subcontroller
blown the NVRAM and reinstalled firmware and subcontroller
We have had minimal if any change...any thoughts?
ALSO ALREADY CHANGED THE...
