Does replacing sponges means replacing the capping? If yes, hopefully you have tried it all. If still you want to try more dip the head in solvent overnight.

Hi, Not sure but I feel the machine use to sense the metal peace above the pinch rollers to determine the sheet size. Hopefully the problem is within the sensor or the metal peace. Hope this helps. Vikram

Just remove the white cables attached in the head. Check all the pins are straight and then re insert taking care for accurate position. Do a cleaning using syringe. Hope your problem will be solved.

Do anyone know the difference between FC-8000 and CE-5000. There is a huge price gap and both have optical sensor for print and cut jobs. If the only difference is in speed and force I will go for CE series. Please guide me. Regards Vikram

I suggest you to turn the head speed to 250. It will give good quality prints and will also allow the inks to dry by giving extra time on heater.
