A lot of times you can get them from government websites for a small fee or free. I have found local maps and maps of natural resource districts this way.
A lot of companies bake the fee into their pricing under $5000 and charge 3% or something over $5000.
I am a huge fan of just including the fee into your pricing. Make the transaction as frictionless as possible. Make it easy for you and your customer.
I can’t tell you how many services I...
So we laminate to maintain sheen consistency and thickness. Most sticker buyers expect either a full gloss or a full matte sheen on their product. They also feel that a thicker sticker is more valuable.
The UV ink from the Colorado’s really doesn’t need laminate.
And yes, the Colorado can...
We talk alot about our beliefs in how we believe our business grows in our FireHour.
We’re not afraid to break even or even lose money for a year while we invest in growth.
We do our best to listen to our clients and find alignment between what they ask us for, what they actually buy, and what...
We run Drytac laminates. But we have also run general formulations 400uv. Both work fine. We will get just a little halo-ing from time to time but it’s minimal and mostly work out with a bit of heat.
For us the big reason is floor space and equipment cost.
We can put a full roll of different kiss cut jobs on a graphtec and let it run unattended with a take up roll. Sometimes we have sticker sheet rolls that take 8 hours to kisscut. It takes 120v and about 12sqft of floor space. It’s also...
Here's a little bit insight on how we do it at FireSprint. We're probably doing more wrong than right, but whatever it is, it works for us! :)
Thanks for watching!
We really like our "Lifetime" retractable stands. They're still quite economical, but we stand behind them. We've only replaced a few over the years. I know you buy alot from us, has this not met your expectations?

We actually don't have any sheet substrates that require two people to load or unload. The height and use of the carts is all a single person operation. ACM might require 2 people, but we don't run that.
We're traveling to visit a lean sign shop out of state. We'll be discussing traveling for business live today (from the car!). We'd love to have your questions!

Mostly we load and unload them flat, but flip them up vertically to roll them through the shop or store them for cutting at a later time. They take up less room that way. This is our workflow though, there are many options I would imagine.
About 50 sheets of coro or 10-15 sheets of acm is what we'll put on the carts. They don't really tip over if they have full sheets on them, they just get too heavy to handle safely.
petepaz Yeah, the only thing we have found is to use a very sharp blade. We have our sharpening service change our blade out weekly. It also helps if there is any way to cut perpendicular to the flutes.

How do you guys move sheets around your shop? Do you just stack them on pallets? Use a drywall cart?
Here at FireSprint, we use modified rockler carts which you can get on Amazon.
