  4. FC-8000 Freezing

    My Plotter has been freezing up either after or during it's cross cut routine or if I ask it to plot weed lines. Seems to cut normally(so far) but I'm having to cycle power after almost every plot. Ideas?

    I have had the same problem and Color Burst, at least the version that comes with the Epson, doesn't give you a way to double hit the material. Fought with this for a couple years and now have Onyx which gives more control over the amount of ink deposited.

    Did you cut than print? If so, how did you locate the part for printing?

    Has anyone seen or used one? I am down to deciding between their Hybrid and a FB500. I've been able to find enough folks who've had trouble with the HPs that it gives me pause, but nothing really about the CETs. Thoughts?

    trying to understand the relative differences, advantages and dis-advantages to each. Thoughts? We're in the process of upgrading our print shop and adding a UV printer and would like to be able to operate whatever we get and our existing Epson GS6000 from the same program.
