    I've had similar issues resulting from: -Print feed calibration was off -or the lights in the studio are way to bright on gloss materials and I put something over the sensor as it reads the REG marks to shadow the red sensor. -OR and this is a big one, this happens alot, if there is dust...

    Im using an HP FB500 (flatbed printer) with UV inks. Im having ink adhering issues with the certain aluminum composites (max metal for example) where it prints fine, but the ink will scratch right off with little resistance. Is there any substrate prepping I need to do or another type of ACM...
  4. PDF proof wtf

    I usually open it up in photoshop and flatten the proof, I've had situation where the client has done overprints and those will NOT print. so they won't show up if you flatten the image, its always best to be safe than sorry.

    Has anyone found an adhesive that will work with this material, I see a lot of talk about pros and cons with this material. I love the way it prints and lays flat, but I can't find a tape that will stick to this stuff past a few months. anyone? Thanks!:iamwithstupid
  6. What is your print speed?

    I have a Roland XJ-640, and if I print over 90 sq ft an hour then I get bad quality. Mostly the lawnmower effect, but I was wondering what other people can expect on their printers? I can reach op to 110 sq ft an hour, as long as there is no solid colors. Thanks
