    I bought a Graphtec FC7000-130 in 2009, and still use it on a daily basis. I have only replaced the cutting strip and blades in 15 years.

    I guess my question is why do you need it? Let the client know you don't have this (cough, awful, cough) letter style, and offer a more legible one (one you already have licensed).

    Any adhesive used (whether it holds or not) will leave marks on the bricks if (and more likely, when) a change is necessary. As ProSign TN said, mortar joint stud mount will not damage the bricks, and it will be easy to drill into the mortar. Also, it is easy to repair holes in mortar.
