  8. By Appointment Only

Does anyone out there just do by appointment only instead of regular 9-5 or 8-4:30 business hours? We only cater to business clients most of which call, text or email. 10. Terms Of Account

I am pretty stingy with my terms I am definitely not a bank and many sign shops get into cash flow trouble over this type of thing. The clients that are asking for terms are not small and paying isn't an issue, the whole point of the form is to have back up data just in case I need it. They...

  13. Terms Of Account

I am finding that some of my good clients are asking for terms which we haven't extended in the past. I am looking for some sample credit applications other sign shops use.
  14. Need Help Mimaki, Rasterlink 6 And Pms Colors!?

I have had a mimacki for about 3 years and at first the colours were fine but at some point there was a shift. Now I use my pantone guide a lot and typically 2 or 3 shades lighter gives me the exact colour. Most of the time if I am trying to get exact I run a sample at 10% of the original size...
  15. What's the best heat transfer vinyl for T-Shirts?

I do a lot of shirts and we are also set up to screen print but the best materials I have found: Siser Colour Print (amazing stuff, softer hand than the Stahls stuff, lasts better than 50 washes and weeds like a dream from my mimacki) My new favorite is Forever Digital Transfer this stuff is...
  16. Everyone is a designer these days

Even the designers are bad sometimes I just did a 4'x8' banner today with artwork provided by a large oil company and 2 of the logos were raster and the layout was designed smaller than 4x8 so of course when brought to the right size were terribly pixalated. This came out of the design...
