Lots of things. Bad print head, dampers, ribbon cables, fuses... like Joe said, need more details, and post a Nozzle Check too.

The "skipping parts" is the issue that has me concerned. I've seen bad cut ribbon cables cause entire portions of cuts fail to execute.

Are the same exact nozzles in that magenta channel missing, even after cleanings? Or do they tend to jump around through several Test Prints? Any head strikes precipitate this problem?

Do you have access to one of those fancy line monitors that can generate a report on your power over time? I've heard low/inconsistent power can cause malfunctions that would otherwise be inexplicable in a printer. Plus, the E095Err PF Drv Err error you mentioned is also caused by low voltage...

How long was it sitting. From the Carriage, it looks like it could be a 1626UH (or some other non-solvent ink setup?)

We need much more detail, including pictures. Details including, but not limited to: What model cutter? Are you sending the condition settings via the software, or assigning them through the plotter? What are your condition settings (tool, speed, quality, force, offset) What blade/bladeholder...

It's on the carriage. Your technician will have access to the service manual which provides step-by-step instruction on how to access, test, and make adjustments to the sensor.

Whichever printer you choose, it will run automatic cleanings while it's sitting. However, in my opinion, you should run some small prints several times a week--even if you don't have jobs. I know some folks have mentioned latex ink. Make sure to do some research on solvent inks as well...

You're probably going to need a tech to come in and check out your Paper Side Sensor. Probably needs cleaning or voltage adjustment.

In my experience, there's no way for a dirty or damaged encoder strip to cause your printer to shut off. Edit -- I just noticed that you've duct taped your head cables. Have you been messing with anything else on your printer? Edit #2 -- are your ink lines empty?

Are there no stickers anywhere on it? Where does it have the Master brand name on it? Can we see that? Did you look under the plotter? Some plotters have their Model/Serial number stuck on the flat underside of the machine. Any stickers at all with numbers, codes, bar codes, dates, specs...

Since you're using a patch cable, I assume you're directly connecting to the printer instead of over a network?
