If Adobe has to load all those fonts into memory on app launch (which it will and every loaded font gobbles a Mb of memory) my pc would slow to a crawl and be un-usable.

Use a decent quality air-release vinyl, don't do it "wet" (yes people do that). The time you will save and the better quality job more than makes up for the extra vinyl cost, especially on a large job involving multiple vehicles.
I have used just about every coformable film on the market. My favorite would definitely be the Avery vehicle vinyl range, it's great stuff to work with and the prices are not off the scales.

I wouldn't be putting anything on those poles without some added structural support. At the very least 2 or 3 cables from the tops of them.
Also then run a support cable between the poles.
I would print on a higher density Mesh, maximum ink, rather than Banner, much lighter and it won,t kill...
