I have a GS6000 and similar thing happens to me but it only does it when I do a head clean. What happens is that the flushing pad can't absorb ink fast enough so the ink builds up until it sticks to the head, thus smearing ink all over the place.
So, when I do a head clean, I wait for a bit...
I have the same strange problem. The inks do fade fast with the GS6000 by the way, but as mentioned in a previous thread I'm not sure how to explain this.... my prints are suffering fade on the leading edge of the print. See attached.
Thanks very much guys, think I'll have a professional company look at it for me. Not that I'm not professional but just don't have the skills yet to pull something like that off.
Cheers
Hi Guys,
What would be the best way to fit a rectangular sign 8x4ft to a triangular structure? I'm new to fitting signs and I'm a bit worried about the top left hand corner not being supported from behind.
Should I make a frame behind the flat sign (timber or metal) and affix that to the...
Anyone has a solution to this? My machine does the same thing but the one thing that stands out is the fact that when I print a 10m sign it's always out by 100mm (longer)
Did a feed test over 500mm and it's out by 5mm. Won't let me calibrate. It asks to put in the value measured and enter but...
I've had this problem before, on my SP300. All it was was the blade holder not spinning freely. After some time the ball bearings just go out of wack. You can turn the blade by hand and it seems ok but in the machine it'll just tear.
It's the blade holder for sure. Fixed the problem for me every...
Hi everyone,
Interesting one......I've installed this perf material with an overlaminate to the van about 1.5 years ago. Customer came back and says that it is fading on the leading edge of the print.
This is happening on both sides of the vehicle. The only explanation I have is that the sun is...
Black ink not firing
We've had the same thing happen to us. 4 years and no problems with nozzle checks, they're all firing OK until lately the nozzle check looks like your picture. All firing fine except a lot missing on the black.
My environment hasn't changed in all this time. Did multiple...
I think I know what the problem is as I have the same issue. Once you laminate your film it becomes thick and much harder for the vacuum system to pull it down.
The scratches then occur whilst the knife is travelling in the up position as it comes in contact with the overlaminate.
There are a...
