  1. Roland Camm-1 GS-24 Service manual?

GS-24 suddenly started acting up today after 6 yrs of trouble-free cutting.. Our service rep is on the road - and wouldn't be able to get here for weeks - but suggested gently cleaning the encoder strip, which I did, and cleaned the rest of it, lots of dust. No change. It will cut something...

  5. Moveable sign base supplier ???

Thanks Marlene, yes we do have Grimco in Canada, but not nearly the production selection of state-side, and they don't carry them unfortunately, I just checked - . We get requests for this, where did you get them? But if they are only available in the US, will cost a fortune to bring up to Canada... :-/
  7. VP-540 Print Head

I agree, that test print doesn't look too bad to me, certainly not to produce that kind of banding. Have you tried cleaning the encoder strip? We've been through a couple of banding nightmares with our 540, solved by cleaning the strip. The last time it was a minuscule bit of dust/ink/debris.
  8. Discussion Do I have to wait 24hrs so I can laminate?

If I could chime in here, and relate an experience we had last year. Full vehicle wrap with heavy ink coverage in some areas (a zombie cop, car to be exact). We printed ecosol ink on 3M IJ180 mc using our Roland versacamm. Let it off gas for about 24 hours before laminating. It was a nightmare...
  9. Roland VS-540 Black Bad nozzle test

Hi Divers, my first thought....because you fix it and the problem returns after a print job... may be the ink? clotting? Did you try changing the cartridge?

  15. Anyone have a GCC LaserPro?

Thanks Watson! I really appreciate all the feedback from everyone on here! Ya I first heard of GCC poking around on Sawmill, and I didn't see any bad reviews other than customer service. The GCC is carried by Stahls out of Concord Ont. The rep tells me the tube is covered for one year...
  16. Anyone have a GCC LaserPro?

but we can still accomplish the same results; cutting acrylic, engraving wood and plastic? Is it that the glass tube won't last as long? Is there a big difference with the beam?
  17. Anyone have a GCC LaserPro?

After shopping around for months, just about to make the deal on a GCC LaserPro X252 80 watt. Anyone have one of these, or experience with GCC? Trotec price was kinda hard to swallow, and even Epilog doesn't seem to give as much bang for the buck. Tired of farming out, and need the ability to...

Hi! I posted this once before but no joy :)... does anyone know what this material is? A flexible mirrored plastic (polyvinyl??) of some sort, about 2mm thick. Please help! Can anyone tell me what this stuff is, and where to get it? One of my guys said he used to use it years ago for motorcycle decals, but can't remember what it's called.
