Not entirely, I haven’t had motivation to keep the process up right now. I’m almost confident though I’m at the limit of my inkset and I’m probably looking for colors that are just not achievable. Example being very night oranges and very deep reds. However I do know that if I build a profile...

Still at it.... So I’m starting from square one. Setting ink limits. I’ve gone by eye and I think that I’m setting them too low and not maximizing my gammut. I keep reading that I need to adjust ink limits by measuring chroma but I can’t find solid information on doing this process. Any tips?

Here's the odd thing... I made a profile last night for Substance Inc. X1. and i decided to go heavy on my ink limits which did yield a richer gamut in the reds and oranges. But what struck me as odd was the fact that my patches printed much darker than they should have been. This is all very...

Yes and i can see that the profiles I create are lacking in the reds vs pre made profiles. Im just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong or if i am really at the limit of my media and printer.

Going to bump this thread again. So I went back in and attempted another profile. I set my ink limits higher this time and got slightly better linearization but I still can’t seem to hit vibrant reds. Am I really just expearincing the limits of my printer? That would be odd considering pre...

Yes, I posted a picture earlier showing the comparison, it is my reds that seem to be lacking.
  10. If you are a Flexi ICC profile making wizard please read and respond

Since I am comparing to pre made profiles I am unable to see ink limits.

You most likely are having an air leak which is causing the lines to not stay filled, or your maintenance station is clogged. also check your capping for wear. it is very critical for your print head to be sealing on your capping station. If your maintenance station and capping are in good shape...

When I bring my sample gradient under the sun, the darker parts of my white to black gradient are still slightly greenish. This is after linerization and charictorization. My ink limits are roughly 85% C, 80% M 70%Y, and 90% K. Total ink limit is 307%. In not on my PC so I can’t tell you my...

here is what i'm talking about, granted this is one media... but for this particular media its really lacking in the reds. I should mention that my printer is a VJ1204

Let me ask you this... How do your profiles compare to pre made profiles? Example being, if I open up the profile viewer or whatever it’s called, I can see the the pre made profile has a fair bit more gamut than the profiles I have been able to make. Am I missing something here? I set my...

So went into the “cloud” version. I’m not able to make my greys neutral no matter what settings I use. Also when I look at the gamut of a pre made profile it is larger than what I’m able to create. Now that I have some made I can send them to you Frank.
  16. If you are a Flexi ICC profile making wizard please read and respond

Oh and I to be clear I am not changing or modifying existing profiles. I am trying to make profiles from scratch.
  17. If you are a Flexi ICC profile making wizard please read and respond

It’s a full version of Flexi 10, not cracked. I have the dongle and one box with key. I’m going to try to run production manager in administrator mode and also turn on compatibility mode. The i1 licensing isn’t an issue because I’m doing all my creation and profiling through production manager

Exactly why I didn’t pay for X rite software when my Rip should handle it. I think my only option here is to try the cloud version of Flexi. And the failure is at the very end of the profiling process, it fails to create a profile. No error code or and reason why.
  19. If you are a Flexi ICC profile making wizard please read and respond

The I1 profiler program won’t let me activate at all, which is to be expected evause after all I did only pay for hardware and was an open version for onyx. I should clarify that I have not been able to even create a profile. The only profiles I have are pre made.
  20. If you are a Flexi ICC profile making wizard please read and respond

I’ll look again, this i1 is an one unit for Onyx. Eo2hw. The device is the same but lacks software and license. I tried downloading the i1 profiler but no luck. I should mention that I’m running Flexi 10 on Windows 10. My dealer thinks the issue is that I’m running it on an unsupported OS
