  1. Advertising on your signs

Thank you everyone for the replies. This is why i love this forum, so many great resources. I like the small print on the front that jsmoritz2000 did. I am going to include it in the proofs and leave it up to the customer. Maybe a discount when it is included. I too have seen the fast...
  2. Advertising on your signs

Thats pretty much what my feeling has been. I thought of this idea when I saw some parking signs at HD and they had the manufactures name on the front border. I think I will stick with the backs. Thanks for your input.
  3. Advertising on your signs

I am wondering if any of you include your business on the face of your signs? I include my company name/contact on the back of all banners, but wondering about adding it to the face. I am doing a few sidewalk signs for a customer and was thinking about adding my company name to the bottom...
  4. Bannerups Failure

Mid to high 90's. i will add grommets to all of them until i get rid of the rest or use for indoors. As someone previously stated, they dont work as advertised. Disappointed no one from bannerups has responded, oh well, chalk it up to a lesson learned.
  5. Aluminum boat vinyl

I have an aluminum boat that has a vinyl stripe approximately 16" wide, the length of the boat. The strip is at the top edge and has incidental water contact, not submerged. I am curious if oracal 951 can be used here? There are no grooves or edges to conform to. The only curve is from the...
  6. Bannerups Failure

I used these because they were supposed to be stronger than grommets, i like the clear, and they are faster than folding a hem and punching grommets. If i was just putting grommets in a single thickness banner, that would be faster, but also weak. not necessarily weaker than these apparently...
  7. Bannerups Failure

While seeking new, better, faster methods of hemming banners i decided to try Bannerups. I searched the forum and did not find much info good or bad about them so i ordered and tried them out. I have used them on several banners now and they are failing after less 4-6 weeks. One banner is 2 x...
  8. Premier Colour - Excellent Service

I have a mutoh 1604 and ordered bordeaux inks. The customer service at Premier Colour and the quality of the ink has been great. Ordered bulk ink system thursday afternoon and they were at my door saturday morning. I called and talked to Francis and his staff and they were very helpful. I...
  9. Polycarbonate installation on substrate

I have a customer who needed a backlit sign for a indoor drink machine. The sign is 9x30, I had it printed on .10 polycarbonate by signs365(their backlit media). Problem is it's too thin to install by itself. I have a piece of clear polycarbonate I want to attach the printed to. Any...
  10. What is PSL vinyl

I received a quote from a customer from another sign shop, it lists PSL vinyl, I have not heard of this before. I see it mentioned in 2 posts, but no definition or manufacturer. Do you guys know who makes it, or does this stand for something else? Thanks
  11. RV stripes

I am looking for vector files of the various stripes and graphics that are used on RV's and Trailers. I am not looking for exact matches to the current stripes, just some to add on. Anyone know where i can get the files? Thanks in advance.
