I am thinking of glueing up two pieces of Formica to make a non-stick sled. We are tearing up our Dibond coated with PSA/Silicon cover and they need replacing/repairing due to surface damage. Has anyone else tried Formica as a non-stick sled for their laminator?

Using a Seal 62Pro, we are not able to keep our infeed print (260g gloss inkjet paper) flat or wrinkle free if we exceed 40% nip pressure. Infeed alignment seems critical for longer runs too. We always use the hold down bar on print infeed.

Believe it or not, WD-40 will destroy the bond of almost any VHB tape.

I think it is a nice improvement, but search seems to not be working from an iPad.

3M VHB 3M 4905 VHB is rated to hold 1 pound of weight per 4 square inches of tape. But the bonding surfaces need to be alcohol wiped and non porous. You could attach a bracket with VHB and use sheetrock fixings to attach to wall. That's a safer approach.
