  1. SOLVED: Script and Serif Font Identification

Found them both: Let707 Colonial Script Didot LT Pro Roman Having no luck with thousands of fonts, I inspected the printer's website and dug them out of the website's sources. Letraset 707 Colonial Script font is nowhere to be found. Nothing comes out of web searches.
  2. SOLVED: Script and Serif Font Identification

I just found that the customer had her card made at Crane.com, and they call this font "Colonial Script" which seems to be an internal naming because it's a dead end. Still no match. Embassy and Aerolite Script are somewhat close, but lack the finesse and proportions of this one. Looked over...
  3. SOLVED: Script and Serif Font Identification

EDIT: Found the fonts, removed customer's name and contact information (Attached image) I went through a lot of fonts, but either the lowercase L or the uppercase R won't match the script font. I'd also appreciate help identifying the serif font too. Thanks in advance!
  4. Need to identify two fonts

Thanks for directing me that way, I found News701 to be slightly closer than 706 thanks to you. Will manually modify to match from there.
  5. Need to identify two fonts

Thanks. I guess I don't have that variation of the Commercial Script. The font for HOTEL is anatomically different than Times New Roman. Still looking for that one...
  6. Need to identify two fonts

I have fonts close to both the script and the serif fonts here, but none really are a perfect match. Could anyone identify them please?

Embarrassed to ask the name of such a common typeface. I think my mind is slipping away... Can anyone help me remember, please?
  11. FL Looking to partner up with a company that out-sources vinyl cut

I find your listing mildly confusing. I understand that you want to design and install outsourced vinyl cut graphics. But then you list your services and possible travel locations for bigger jobs, and don’t want to offer any of those services for other sign companies. It might be a good idea to...
  12. Need pricing for Reflective Print/Cut and Black Reflective Cut

Hi, I'm in Winter Park, FL and need a square footage price for: Printing and contour cutting on air release reflective vinyl. Eg. ORAFOL 5650RA or Avery Dennison V4000. Plotter cutting Air-Release Black Reflective vinyl for ghost lettering. Eg. Avery Dennison V4000. I appreciate trade-only...

Yes! Thank you, I appreciate it.
  14. Need help with an Art Deco font

    Does anyone recognize this font?
  15. Any tips on taking pictures so that everything sizes up the same?

If you have enough distance, I’d suggest zooming in from afar. It would flatten the lens distorsion. If you have Adobe Lightroom, you can pick your camera lens and it will straighten the distorsion. If I’m in a hurry and the job does not require high accuracy, usually tape horizontal and...
  16. D140 vs fc7000 vs newer summas

If you don’t have any complaints from the FC7000’s performance, I’d say don’t fix it if it ain’t broken. If you want better performance, Summa’s S series track better, and respond better to mid sheet deformations with additional registration marks, and the T series are at the top of the food...
  17. Sign Shop Meme

Because it's a JPEG saved in CMYK with 100% K in the backround. No offense but when you say "you're black" it means "you are black", so I would edit it as "your black" to fix the question.
  18. printer/cutter what should i choose

I attached some samples of stckers from a Summa.DC4/5.
  19. printer/cutter what should i choose

“Why did DC5 disappear from your website?” was my first question at Sign Expo in Orlando and the Summa guys pointed me the way to Airmark’s stand. DC5 is handled by Airmark in North America. Check their website instead.
  20. printer/cutter what should i choose

Why don’t you check Summa DC5-SX? It’s the best thermal printer cutter combination out there and unlike inkjets it doesn’t need constant use, servicing and cleanups to keep the heads from clogging. Very low power unit, no ventilation needed because no harmful outgassing, and you don’t need...
