you can do it but your cutting stick will not last too long, I have a FC8600 and position 3 sit on the channel right in front of the stick so it will not damage the cutting stick.

I know the board should be ok beacuse all the other colors print except magenta.

The dampers are definitely filled i pulled ink into them, dampers and cap are new on the magenta head that I replaced. How do i get ink manually into the head?

At my job it is called sleeking we do this with a laminator the film adheres to the black ink.

I have an old 545ex, I was out of town and the power went out the machine was off completely for two days. I started it up printed fine for a couple of jobs now my magenta completely dropped out. Doing a head soak now anything else I should be looking at? Any help would be appreciated.

you could have used the hooptech cap frame and saved on the bucket system.

I agree after trading my swf for the zsk the hat hooping system of the zsk was way better so I stopped using the gen2. I mostly usw for bucket hats, but i did get the backnhat system and I do use that a lot.

I use to use them a lot when I had my SWF but now I have a ZSK and haven't used it much.

Clean your encoder strip if that does not work you might need a scan motor.
