    Very easy process for this process. The key is to have a blank bottom layer in PS and save as a PDF. When you import/open it in Flexi just click just click on the contour cut option and it will place a cutline based on the whatever image you made. Simple, easy and fast. I do it all day long.

    be careful, do adhesive testing. Some of those have a wax finish some decals wont stick.

    Cardboard boxes? Id be scared to use vinyl on boxes. The shrinking will pull the fibers off of the box and ruin the adhesive. Look for paper based sticker material.

    This should be common practice on these printers. Seems to bunch up in the middle really easy. Also the other day ours started jamming more than usual and I found the profile (magically)had the heat set the whole way up.

    yes, head strikes. Either the vacuum is too low or the heat is too high for the material you are using.

    We print on heavyweight satin poster and use the perf cut set up on our Graphtec 8600 to make things like this all of the time. Works good and doesn't take up much of our time.
