  1. Need Help Extreme conditions, need help from the experts on this forum

I think you just need to use a more expensive vinyl and laminate combination. try vehicle grade like 180C from 3M, or MPI 1105 from Avery. Those are rated for 8 and 7 years i believe. With the quantity you are buying, you should be able to speak directly to a rep and get a real warranty.
  2. Trade supplier for coasters?

    This was helpful, thank you!
  3. What happens when you leave Konica after a lease is done

I'm coming up to the end of my "lease" with Konica for our paper printers. Are we able to just keep using the printers after we pay the buyout fee? Or do they try and force you into a new printer contract?
  4. Trade supplier for coasters?

We need about 30,000 coasters on a pulpboard material for a client. Has anyone found a good supplier for these?
  5. Any Canadians have experience hiring immigrants?

    Hey thanks that's helpful!
  6. Any Canadians have experience hiring immigrants?

Because they tell me they are when they come and interview. It's endemic. Here in Canada it's mostly indians not Mexicans. I feel bad for them, they make significantly less than minimum wage and their employers tend to miss payroll and find reasons not to give them even that.
  7. Any Canadians have experience hiring immigrants?

That does seem to be my competitions' strategy
  8. Any Canadians have experience hiring immigrants?

Does anyone have experience sponsoring immigrants to come over for sign work here in Canada? I get many applicants from Latin America and Europe, but I don't have a good understanding of how much work it is to sponsor
  9. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

yeah glad to help man. So frustrating to constantly have cards getting compromised.
  10. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

Nice that it isn't happening to you! Might as well switch to their paypal option for paying to stay safer though They've clearly had a large IT breach there. We have a sinalite specific email that only receives emails from sinalite and nowhere else. back in the spring that email was absolutely...
  11. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

yes it's like clockwork with them for me. I have two shops and two credit cards so it was a little easier to figure out. This month someone accidentally used my card with sinalite, and i started seeing random charges from Quebec and Mississauga again.
  12. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

Sinalite out of Ontario Canada is continuously compromising my credit cards. Just putting this out there in case anyone is ordering from them and hasn't figured it out yet. You can use their Paypal pay option instead and your card won't get compromised.
  13. JRS CLOSING

Usually the chromed finish, although we need matte black for the specific order I'm having troubles with. Curious how you do with this! I did end up finding silver ones from Signbracketstore. I can't say for sure, but it looks like they actually make them in house instead of ordering from JRS
  14. JRS CLOSING

I'd take like 10 24 ft lengths if i could get them and just cut them myself! They're a niche product but they look much better than angle iron
  15. JRS CLOSING

Has anyone been able to find Corridor brackets?
  16. Anyone have a good alternative to JRS for corridor brackets?

It turns out a whole bunch of our suppliers use them to supply us
  17. Signmaking Extrusions in Canada

Where are you guys getting your sign making extrusions from in Canada? Grimco has a fairly limited supply. I was just looking up Signgineer that JBurton was recommending, and Eastern Metal Supplies has way better stuff available for raceways, sides of cans etc..
  18. Belbien or Dinoc alternative in Canada

Does anyone know of a good Dinoc alternative? I like Belbien quite a bit, but their shipping charges really just make it infeasible for smaller orders.
  19. Reflective for car wrap

I can't speak to what has the highest reflectivity, but we buy 3M's vehicle grade reflective for even decals that need to go over big body lines on fords. Hopefully it's in your price--that stuff is 4k a bundle!
  20. I am so SICK of this problem!!! (lettering not sticking to painted walls)

3M IJ180C works for us when we're worried about it. It's high tack, and long term. Obviously more expensive though
